Our Water Station provides drinking water to local not-for-profit community and sporting events. The station is available free of charge for large-scale public events that have access to mains (tap) water.
The station is a mobile unit that connects directly to a nearby drinking water tap and includes eight water bubblers and four water bottle fillers. Our contractor will deliver, set-up and then collect the unit.
We do our best to accommodate the high number of booking requests we receive and your event must meet the below criteria. Please consider the following before applying:
- Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the event
- The station can only be supplied to events that have mains water (a drinking water tap) on site that is easily accessible
- Events must occur in the North East Water service area
- Your event must be a not-for-profit community or sporting event open to the general public
- The event must run for a minimum of five hours and have an audience size of greater than 1000
- The event must have public liability insurance
- An organisation can only utilise the water station for one event per financial year.
