Prior to the water interruption
- Ensure you have stored enough water (in jugs or buckets etc.) for drinking, cooking and any pets during the interruption.
- Consider filling bucket/s to flush the toilet.
After the water is restored
- Run both hot and cold taps, preferably at the front of the property for a short period
- If the water is dirty or milky and persists, we suggest you continue to run a tap at the rear of your property until the water becomes clear. This water could be used to water the garden or lawn.
Other information about your interruption
- Times indicated are approximate only and it is possible water will be returned sooner if work be completed.
- The schedule works will be carried out during the period(s) indicated, weather and other conditions permitting.
- Works notified for a day of total fire ban may be rescheduled if conditions and site assessment deem it necessary.
