Financial help for customers

North East Water is aware of the ongoing financial struggle for some customers to pay their accounts.

Customers under financial difficulty are encouraged to talk to us as soon as possible, so we can work together to discuss ways we may be able to help.

There are several arrangements we can make to assist, including direct debits, tailored payment plans and the use of Centrepay to have automatic payments deducted from Centrelink.

We may also be able to explore government assistance or concession options.
